Paper Pusher.
That was what it was that Kurasame was turning into. A Paper Pusher, he would sit and teach these kids, some were good at learning and studying, and the rest, well not so much. Then he had to go back to the people that were higher up than him on the chain and explain what that was. One of these days he was start sending the students up there himself to tell them why they were failing his class. Not that it hurt him to put a failing grade on someones paper, it was just that he was getting tired of trying to explain himself, as if it were his own fault. Really, he thought that it might have been in a small way, but on most cases, he knew that they just had no interest in learning what it was that he had to teach. He had come in and taken the place of someone that they knew very well, they had came to trust the instructor before him and they just resented him. So maybe some of it was his fault. There was nothing really much that he could do about least to say, that was either give them a curve, which was something that he was not a fan of, or he made the consequences worse, which was what he was most likely to do in situations like this one.
Taking in a small breath, Kurasame put all of the papers that were on his desk away, he really did not want to dwell on those thoughts anymore. Pushing back his hair somewhat out of his eyes, he stood up and proceeded to the cafeteria. If there was one thing that could make someone stop worrying about something, even for a small moment it was food. And well yeah, he was hungry. Just because his students thought that he was some hardcore superman teacher that did not mean that he did not eat and sleep. It was a very normal day today, at least that was what he thought. Moving through the small line, Kurasame got his food and made his way to an empty table. Their food quarters were much smaller than anything else that was on the Academy campus. Their training room was bigger by far, and even some of their classroom had it beat. Looking around to all the people that were in the same room he would give a small nod to the ones that he made contact with just out of some sort of respect.
Pulling off his mask, he let it sit on the table in front of him. This was one of the few times he had would ever take off his mask on purpose. Not that he was ashamed, but it was far too complicated to even think about. With a small shake of head the Class Zero Instructor began to eat his lunch, and he would hope that it was to be as quite as is it could be all things considering, he was in an Academy, full with seventeen year olds of course.

“Before the memories become distant and fleeting... Give me a Time Machine..."
Bleep. Bleep. Bleep. Kazusa glared at his alarm as it went off for the thirteenth time today. He would’ve turned it off by now, were it not that his arm wasn’t long enough to reach it. He’d purposely put it farther away from his bed, so he’d have to actually get up in order to make the horrible noise stop rather than lazily tap it and then go back to sleep, only to arrive at work four hours late. Not that anyone checked whether he was there or anything, but still… you never knew when the boss might pay you a surprise visit. Now it was out of his reach, and the scientist couldn’t help but feel irritated. Mostly at himself, because he’d been the one with the brilliant plan to put it there last night. It had sounded like such a good idea in theory, but in practice, it had failed miserably. Shoving a pillow over his head, he tried to drown the noise out. No such luck, this was a loud as hell alarm clock. He peeked out from underneath his pillow to check the time, but he couldn’t tell without his glasses. All he saw were some blurry lines and dots, reaching out, he came to the grim realization that… his glasses were out of reach as well. Goddamn it all! This was a nightmare! Only one way to solve this problem… Grabbing his pillow, he flung it across the room at the alarm clock, that fell off his desk and loudly clattered to the floor. It bleeped a few more times before it completely broke down and fell completely silent. Success! But wait…
…
………
Now he didn’t have a pillow anymore! ARGH!! With a growl, he kicked his blanket off and stood up, grabbing his glasses mid-stride as he went to check how late it had been before the alarm met its early grave. Oh wow… it was already noon, who would’ve thought? Oopsie daisy. Oh well. After about twenty minutes, he’d finished his shower and had put on some clean clothes. Hair still damp from the shower, he casually made his way across the school towards his official lab, yawning lazily as he went. When he got there though, he found that most of his work was already finished… aww yeaaah, staying late last night had really paid off! There were still some mundane assignments he had to take care of, but he felt his time was better spent elsewhere. So without a single regret, he sneaked into another scientist’s lab and planted the work for them to take care of before walking out as though nothing had taken place. What was he, some random intern? Work like that damaged his brilliant mind, eating away brain cells and making him feel more stupid with each action he took. It took up valuable time he could’ve used to invent something amazing, but more importantly, it was just painfully boring… and he didn’t want to do it. So he didn’t. Not unless he really, really had to.
With his work out of the way, he went back to stalking the hallways for something interesting to keep him occupied. He considered visiting Emina, but she’d texted him back saying she was in the middle of training right now. Well, there went that. He had half a mind to text Kurasame, but he didn’t want to risk interrupting him during a class or whatever. Kazusa didn’t mind interrupting people, but Kurasame took his job seriously, and he probably wouldn’t appreciate the intrusion. Maybe he could just walk by the classroom and peek inside quickly. If the class was still going on, he could always flee before his friend had a chance to check who had the gall to partially open his door, if he noticed it at all. Humming a song he’d heard in a bar yesterday, he strolled by the classrooms, not even bothering to check inside. Kurasame wouldn’t be there. He was assigned to Class Zero now, and the special little snowflakes had their own special little classroom. Kazusa didn’t care about their specialness, at least this made it easier to find Kurasame if he needed him.
As he walked in the direction of the classroom, he spotted a few of Kurasame’s students. As soon as he laid eyes on them, he felt his expression sour a little. Though this one hadn’t wronged him in any way, she was still a part of Class Zero… or as he liked to refer to them these days; the Untouchables. Queen had made it perfectly clear what would happen to him if he ever snatched up another one of her classmates, and although Kazusa certainly didn’t take orders from no little girls, he had to admit that the urge to cross her and show her he wasn’t going to take orders from her wasn’t nearly as strong as his desire to live. Most kids joked about these things, but something told him Queen actually would maim him if he tried something again. As he approached, he couldn’t help but notice how casual the girls looked. Not at all like they’d just finished a class. Maybe it finished early today… or maybe his shower had been long enough that it was now lunch time, either way, if Kurasame wasn’t in his classroom, where else would he be? The cafeteria seemed like a logical place, but Kazusa tended to avoid that place at this time of day, as it would surely be packed with brats right now. He didn’t have much of a choice though, did he? It was either accept being surrounded by kids while talking to Kurasame, or be surrounded by no one while talking to… no one? That seemed boring, so… here goes.
He started in the direction of the cafeteria, and the closer he got, the more kids he had to dodge as they ran around like a pack of wild animals. Good grief this job, this location… it really did mean sacrificing your sanity at times. Thankfully for him, it didn’t take long to spot his ol’ pal amongst the countless of brats scurrying about, and with a light grin, he pushed a few kids aside to get to Kurasame’s table. He didn’t bother with the lunch line, it was getting busier by the second, and besides, he’d just woken up. He wasn’t hungry yet. Just as he was about to grab a chair and sit down on the opposite side of Kura’s table, a kid ran face first into him, making him trip slightly and fall unceremoniously onto the seat he’d planned to swagger into. “Hey, watch it!” he growled after the girl, who hardly seemed to hear him at all. Ugh, kids… “…yo, what’s up?” he asked casually, pretending that awkward landing on the chair had been planned.
