Warm, muggy, but tropical with gorgeous scenery. Yeah, this was Spira alright. Typical Spira weather and typical mugginess that tended to make some people miserable. Well, for people who weren't from Spira anyway. For someone like Nightmare, who totally was from Spira? Well he'd probably hate any place that wasn't Spira because it wouldn't be as warm as this land. Even Gagazet was fairly bearable for him, though he admittedly found that odd. He always found odd things about Spira; for such a warm land, it was strange for Gagazet to have blizzards everywhere, even blizzards that claimed lives. For a moment, Nightmare shuddered at the memories of all the makeshift graves for the fallen summoners. He was pretty sure he fought some of them too as fiends.
He was still pretty miffed that he went through all of that for literally no reason though. Go to the five temples, he even found a couple out of the way. Really, he went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did he do the trials but he even got some Samurai named Yojimbo. Never used him again after finding out about the whole "You-gotta-pay-me-to-do-my-job-of-defending-you" bull. At least Anima was willing to actually help and not be terrible about it. Admittedly, once he got Anima though, the others just stopped seeing use. Maybe he should-- Well no that's not true, he did occasionally call Valefor or Bahamut for a free ride. He wondered if they were ever unhappy about that sort of thing.
There was still the matter of his sin to take care of. In hindsight, it would really seem like small beans to... just about anyone else who wasn't from Spira. Calling someone a hooker didn't seem like a huge sin in the big picture. But there was still the matter of context. In hindsight, telling Lady Yunalesca that the only reason Zaon bothered to marry her and be her aeon was because she dressed like a hooker in response to her shutting his pilgrimage down due to a lack of guardians, followed by storming out like a diva, wasn't exactly the best idea in the world. Even moreso considering that she was the daughter of the guy who founded Spira's entire religion.
Seriously, how do you repent of that? It was one thing to commit a sin then pray for forgiveness; it was another to pray for forgiveness from the guy whose daughter you insulted. He was pretty sure that there were no amount of temple donations that could make that sort of thing go away. He wondered if the Maesters even knew about it. He hadn't heard diddly squat about excommunication, so there was that. Now that he thought about it, it must have meant that he was technically on his pilgrimage, sort of. Maybe he could look around and find some. Well, if he could find people that would put up with him. Anima loved to remind him of that part.
Maybe that's why he was here, in one of Rin's Travel Angencies, at the bar, enjoying himself. Sort of. He just needed to figure out where to go from there. He looked down at the drink in his hand, swirling the liquid around the cubes of ice within and listening to the ice clink against the glass itself. He took one look and let his mind wander back to his situation. "Can't have anything nice." He muttered more in accordance with his situation than anything in the bar itself. From there, he shook his head and downed the glass in one go.

Like I said in the box, I laughed over the line of dialogue.
You have 1/2 staff approval! You need either one more to accept, or two to deny. Good luck!
