Yeul Audition

Yeul had came to the Academy that was on Radiant Garden through a Historia Crux, a dimensional rift that happens every so often. She was just wondering what she was going to do in Radiant Garden. She had been wondering who could be here that she had known. She was just been standing by the Academy noticing its glorious state. She would loved to find no trouble here. She was just standing close to the building without her guardian also being there. She was a mature grown lady who could take care of herself. She was just wanted to make sure that she was going to see this place to see what it was all about and to get answers.

She was just trying to find someone that she could talked to. This place was brand-new, she hadn't saw a world like this one in her entire lifetime. She was trying to make sure that she had found someone that was from her world. She didn't know most of the people here that was native to this world. She had been taking care of herself when she had gotten here. Yeul was just standing around and wondering who was the director of this building. Her own ability only sees one possible future and that was on Pulse. She didn't know who she would run into on this world, since her eyes won't work on a world that doesn't have Etro here, which means she was safe for a while. She had came up to the door and wondered what she was going to do. She couldn't just barged in there there were laws and traditions that needed to be followed. She had known that history had been changed for the great while that she had came here through Historia Crux.

Of all things, that she had saw in her lifetime, she never foresaw her coming to Radiant Garden in anytime soon that she was on Pulse. She was trying to figure out how to get inside just to talk to the Director. She just wanted to know who was working here as a Director since she would love to talk to the director no matter what the gender was. She was sitting there on the steps wondering how come she couldn't get inside. She even had worried about Noel Kreiss, she hadn't seen him in years. She had promised him that they would meet again. She just loved to know why she wasn't able to get indoors. So, she had decided to circle the back to see if there was a garden to this place. She was just following her gut. "Is there anyone around here that I can talk to?" Yeul asked.

Yeul had been looking at Hope and yet she was wondering what Caius and Noel was up to. She was capable of going out without Caius by her side. This was something that she was going to figure of and she wondered what he was going to say towards her.

Although I’m sure you tried your best with this audition, I’m sorry to say that I have to deny it. You did mention grammar issues to us in the cbox, and I read through it with that kept in mind. However, we did put up a standard for the writing on this site, and while we certainly don't require our members to have perfect spelling and perfect grammar, we do have to try and stick to a certain standard when judging auditions and I'm sorry to say that right now, there are just too many grammatical errors in your audition that we can't accept it. We are specifically aimed at advanced writers, and although I sympathize with your situation, we really can’t use a different standard when judging your auditions as opposed to everyone else’s. It wouldn’t be fair to others, and it would be difficult for us to figure out where to draw a line in who gets special treatment, you know? Of course, grammar is a thing that can be improved if you put the effort into it, so I won’t ban you from trying again later! I would, however, advice you to try and audition for a simpler character. Some characters are more difficult to write for than others, and I feel that Yeul might be a bit too complex if grammar is something you seriously struggle with.

So for now, I have to deny this audition. You are welcome to try again (for Yeul or for another character), but try and work on your grammar first. There are excellent resources out there that you can use, such as this site here.

You have 1/2 denials

I echo much of what was said above. While we can certainly work with you on grammar and accept that even the best of us aren't perfect writers by any means, what we have here is a case of considering the standard to which we'll hold all our members. The writing here, beyond the grammar, has length and sentence structure but little else. The paragraphs seem to be four repetitions of the same idea without advancing the post in any way, and Yeul is at her very essence a very complicated character (or at least one that takes a certain level of attention to do justice). As said, we understand that you have a disability, but we as administrators can't back ourselves into the corner by giving a pass on your writing when we expect everyone else to be writing at at least an intermediate level. The situation puts us in a very difficult position, but we have to err on the side of fairness to all members in this case.

Of course, you can use the link in the post above to brush up on your grammar and try again. Your writing is not unable to be improved in the slightest - you have a good start on how to write a good post, but you haven't shown much detail or creativity. Feel free to try to improve the post one step at a time, if you need to.

For now, though, I will have to give this audition a second denial and ask you to try again.
