OTHER: There’s nothing particularly special about Madison’s appearance. She is a petite female with short blonde hair and dark gray eyes. Her face is almost childlike even though she’s very much an adult. The woman stands at five feet five inches. She has a modest figure, so it doesn’t instantly attract attention the moment she walks in a room. For the most part, she prefers to wear layers as far as clothing goes since she gets chilly easily. She might have a white undershirt, then a black sleeveless turtle neck underneath her uniform. Her white dress shirt is a bit low cut so her turtle neck covers any skin that would have been exposed. She wears a blazer and pants suit most of days since she's a workaholic.

PERSONALITY

DESCRIPTION: To strangers, Madison seems like a friendly person. Most people who meet her describe the blonde as a “delightful” young woman. She’s very polite and courteous of others unless provoked. However, those who have been around her for awhile have their doubts about how nice she really is. Her mannerisms and tone seem to hint she’s just faking niceties, which is somewhat true. Being born to an overly strict top ranking military man like Evan Augustus is the real culprit. Her father instilled manners in her that she was never able to shake off.

Even with her respectful demeanor, within the Turk’s Madison has a reputation for being a stubborn, serious, objective bitch. She always wants to complete a mission and earn the respect of her companions, but the missions Turks partake in aren’t. And thus Madison doesn’t have a smiling facade anymore. In the heat of battle, she can turn into a violent maniac bent on destroying her target. Which is normal since Turk are required her to be quite ruthless at times. During these times Miss Augustus has no morals or conscience, but she’s does have a heart. Madison did grow up in a supposedly loving house, regardless of how strict it is on her.

OTHER: Madison and Elena have a rather trying relationship.  While she loves her little sister, the fact Elena is always striving to upstage her is rather annoying and she is forced to treat her sister as compeition when they're together rather than an affection older sister.  While she would never do anything to harm Elena or even downplay on her sister's strengths, she doesn't openly praise Elena.  She just talks about how well she does behind her back.

History: Madison was born to a housewife name Helena and ShinRa employee named Evan. The couple was struggling when Madison was born, so their first child was born and raised with the poverty stricken slums of Midgar. Evan was a member of the company that owned the city but he wasn’t making enough to secure them a house on the plates. Instead his eldest daughter was exposed to the harsh world of Midgar’s slums. While she wasn’t stealing food to survive day to day, the girl was getting into fights with other children that wanted to steal her food or take her money. Such experiences Madison saw as valuable considering the type of world her father explained to her. Nothing was fair in the real world, and a man’s worth was determined if he could protect himself and the things he cared about. Madison was able to protect herself not only from physical things, but also being conned out of many by adults or tricked into unethical situation. But all that was put behind her some years after Elena was born and their father received a promotion to work at the academy.

Living on the plates was more peaceful outside the home, but within their new home, things were still the same. Elena was always there and needing someone to look after her since she was such naïve and clumsy in her older sister’s eyes. But Madison didn’t see the same expectations being pushed on her sister. The moment her father got his new job, he started hinting how girls at the academy were good at shooting, or hand to hand combat, or book smart. And yet those girls would be nothing in comparison to Madison if she enrolled. Her parents had high hopes for her, which she was obligated to fulfill. The last thing she ever wanted to do was disappoint them since she couldn’t stand the thought of them looking down on her. Things were already annoying enough with Elena and her attitude about everything. She never seemed to understand how she was loved by their parents without trying and Madison had to do everything to earn their love. But the Academy allowed her to shine and get her little sister out of her hair for a bit.

Just like her father, Madison was born to be an expert marksman. And before graduation, the girl was better with any firearm than her father. She graduated valedictorian and even approached by the Turk. Madison quickly joined ShinRa’s pristine ranks as her little sister pulled the bold move of joining the Academy. It was something Madison wasn’t too happy to hear of since it just meant she was going out to try to follow the same path and once again steal the affection away that she had to earn. In rebellion, she changed her last name so the younger blonde girl couldn’t be associated with her. She became Madison Augustus from that day. It was a grandiose name, but it was a name she felt she could live up to, and it was something Elena couldn’t instantly inherit or steal from her. But as the years went by, Elena became a second thought. Instead of trying to earn her parent’s love and respect, she worked hard to gain the respect of her follow coworkers. Through her hard work and determination, she gained the respect and trust of her fellow Turks and closeness with Tseng.

Life as a Turk was extremely eventful with a group called AVALANCHE appeared. And attack on Midgar lead up to an attack on Junon and an attempt on the President. As a Turk she had been exposed many decisions, and at one point taking a moral high ground to save people instead of complete objectives including saving Professor Rayleigh and even her sister Elena. As a Turk, she was able to participant in missions with SOLDIERs including two Second Class named Essai and Sebastian as well as a First named Zack Fair. Eventually, AVALANCHE was destroyed and Verdot was replaced by Tseng.

STRENGTHS: Madison is a great shot.  She's highly accurate and deadly.  She graduated at the top of all her classes and left the military academy as the greatest marksman in its history.  While she uses a pistol during her jobs, she's actually pretty skilled with a sniper rifle too.

WEAKNESSES: Fighting wise, Madison's weakness is fighting in close quarters.  While she's not completely weak and helpless, her fists aren't her greatest strength.  If anything, they're her greatest weakness.
