Nightmare immediately burst into laughter upon her words. That was just too funny considering it was coming from this girl in front of him. "And she immediately advocates child murder! That's an extreme jump from 'poor chocobos.'" He gave a sarcastic gold clap, as if applauding her for this decision. Well, it seemed by her words that she thought that she was from the future; whether this was actually true or not, he didn't care. To him, this girl was out of her mind, and he was bored. So what better way to keep himself entertained, than to play devil's advocate for a bit and egg her on to go through with this. Not that he thought it'd work, especially if she really was from the future. Spreading an arm across his chest, he placed his elbow in its palm, resting his head in his hand. "Well then, little miss future." He called her. He didn't really believe her. He thought she was either lying or out of her mind. But that cell phone was an oddity, and thinking on it, did help lend credence to her whole future thought train. "If it's something that can be stopped, then just try to stop it." He challenged. He wondered just how far she would actually take this; would she try to go after Shinra? It'd certainly give her a cause; not that he'd help, no, he liked the idea of the whole super soldier thing that she was proposing. Gave him a few ideas too. But of course, what could she do if she had no direction? She might just claim she wouldn't know what to do, and might use that as an excuse to just give up. He could sense a shitstorm if she was telling the truth, and it kept him from being bored anyway, so why not. "He used to work with a group called the Gullwings; find them and you'll likely find him." Besides, if she actually went for the Gullwings and succeeded well... two birds one stone, as they say. But why stop there, he'd just motivate her even further. "Might want to hurry; the strongest source found so far is supposedly the Farplane; where the souls of those that die go to rest."Yes, he was effectively telling her that Shinra was invading and harvesting and destroying heaven for the sake of a power source. He was curious as to how she'd take that one. tags: yuffie wearing: here and should probably be wearing a heart shaped mask now. notes: you sure about that? CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GS

thisistenpercentluck* twenty percent skill. fifteen percent concentrated power of will. five percent pleasure. fifty percent pain. and one hundred percent reason to remember the name Yuffie rolled her eyes, tapping the conformer against her leg again. "No Chocobo has single-handedly been able to hurt every single person I love. A chocobo has never caused a war that reduced my nation to a tourist trap, nor ever caused a plague that stamped out a large portion of the population in two years. The worst a chocobo has ever done to me was cause some pesky motion sickness. However, if a chocobo were to be found to have caused all these things, I'd be pretty quick to turn on it too. It's my duty, and my job, to keep the world safe." She snipped back at him. It wasn't his fault. He'd never seen Gaia. He'd never watched a person's body literally eat away at itself from Geostigma. Never seen the monstrosities that threatened to rip the world apart. So she couldn't blame him for seeing her quick turn against the 'kid' as something horrible. "Some kid." She scoffed. Her stomach rolled at the thought. To think some brat was trying to use some place that sacred for a power source. If she had been skeptical about killing a child, she definitely was not anymore. She thought maybe there had been a good intentions in there somewhere. That, he might have honestly started with the idea that what he was doing was good, and generations later greed and selfishness had corrupted the company. Unfortunately there seemed to be no such luck. In fact it seemed like he was a pretty short sighted little creep. How could he not see that something like that was wrong. "Where I'm from, they use the lifestream. It's similar, in some ways. Everything is born from, and returns to the life stream. It's what keeps the planet going, and it is also what keeps it safe. At what point, logically, can you say that either of those two things, My lifestream or your farplane, are okay to be destroyed so that you can live a little more comfortably?" She asked, to the male she was speaking to, but also to the universe, Leviathan, or anyone that would listen. Notes: Sorry it's a bit short. But so long as no one decides to pick up and rp as Shinra before she gets sent back to Gaia I think we're safe on that account. She can look all she wants in the meantime though. It didn't matter that they were similar. What he was wondering is what was up with this girl. If she really was from the future, which seemed a bit far fetched for Nightmare to believe, then he found the entire intent to kill Shinra funny in the first place. He just didn't have it in him to tell her that if she was still here, and fully remembered her past, then regardless of her actions, the power company would continue to exist. Mainly he didn;t have it in him cause he found the idea of it all fascinating. Nightmare believed that because she was here, no matter what she did, her quest to change things would end in failure. The laws of time were a fickle, fickle mistress after all. The only thing he wanted to know, is how she would fail, if changing the future was indeed her goal like he was assuming. Would she realize the futility of it all and give up of her own accord? Would someone talk her into it? Or would she be killed along the way with no one ever really knowing just what she happened to be? If she did manage to kill the kid, and avert her so called future, then time would be changed so that she never showed up, meaning Shinra would go on to do whatever he did, or something. Failure or time loop, that was how Nightmare saw it; there was just no way that she could actually win this. That said, if she was determined to go through with it, he'd go ahead and give her pointers and help her indirectly simply to see what happened. It didn't matter that she professed herself to be a super hero to him, it didn't matter what her goals and motivations were. If she was telling the truth, then this was going to be a fun ride. So he'd just give her another pointer. "Go on to the Farplane then. You can see what it's like there for yourself. You should actually be surprised in both manners." It would be pleasantly surprising in that the Farplane was beautiful beyond words. But, it had a downside; apparently it was filled with really powerful monsters or something, he didn't know the full story. Either way, if it really did harvest the dead, less monsters would be nice. Grinning, he looked at her with his golden eyes as they glinted with curiosity and amusement. This had started like any other day, but this girl, lying or not, crazy or not, definitely made it interesting. "Find your way to Guadosalam, from there, it's rather easy to get into the Farplane though." One could still visit the Farplane, it made for a nice place for many to find closure, which, speaking of. "While you're there, you may want to take the time to think of any loved ones who are no longer with you. You might be pleasantly surprised." Of course, he had no clue if the Farplane existed outside time or whatever it was she was claiming, but maybe it might work for her. tags: yuffie wearing: herenotes: that place has omega weapon what the hell CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GS

thisistenpercentluck* twenty percent skill. fifteen percent concentrated power of will. five percent pleasure. fifty percent pain. and one hundred percent reason to remember the name A look of annoyance crossed her features and she looked at him with a bored expression. "Whether this is some sort of time travel, or just plain dimension hopping, I'm pretty sure no one I know is even born yet, let alone dead in your Farplane. So it would be stupid to pay my respects to those not yet dead. Anyways people who die where I am from get reabsorbed into the Lifestream. I'm fairly certain it's different from your place of death or Gaia would look much more like this. Your world is very different from where I'm from, for one our sun doesn't tend to burn the everliving hell out of my shoulders." She complained, looking at her rapidly coloring skin. It hurt, quite a bit now that she was paying attention to it. Not worse than some of the wounds she had carried in the past, but enough to twinge uncomfortably at every movement.
"I'll keep it in mind. After all, who knows how long I'll be here. Though, before I go off on new adventures I'm going to have to get supplies. It seems as though I was ransacked before getting here. All that came with was my phone, my clothes, and Conformer. Hell, even my iodine tabs are missing." She complained with a exaggerated motion, pulling her pockets inside out to show how empty they were.
"Don't need to get myself killed before I can even figure this place out. Water is kind of a necessity, food. Oh, hey, and maybe a working phone. But, oh that's right you don't have those here." She said, picking up a pebble and throwing it in his direction. It whizzed past his head, barely missing the side of his face. She'd like to maybe get to talk to any of them. At least once more, if she wasn't going to get to again for one reason or another. Not that a single one of them would answer her damned calls anyways. Jerks.
She looked at the phone again, which looked like it was working well enough, but it had no signal. Still she dialed the first number in her speed dial. It just so happened to be Tifa's, considering on any given day it she was the most likely to answer her calls, so long as she wasn't calling during one of her shifts. Of course, all that sounded on the other side was static. A heavy sigh escaped her lips. "Right, definitely no signal." she said with a huff.
